Distribution Explorer
Distribution Explorer is a Windows application that provides an easy means of viewing, analyzing and exporting probability distributions.
Features:
- Supports plotting of a variety of PDF types (Normal, Exponential, LogNormal, Triangular, Uniform and Weibull) along with assigned specification limits
- Percent compliance and PNC (probability of non-compliance) is computed based on the PDF type and location of specification limits
- If the moments are computed from a set of data (mean, standard deviation, skewness and kurtosis), the distribution shape can be approximated using Johnson Distributions. This feature allows a wider variety of PDFs to be plotted and PNC computed for empirically determined distributions
- In all cases the PDF is plotted with the spec limits and can be copied to a clipboard for insertion into MS Office or other types of documents
