WCBF DFSS Conference

SDI will be at the WCBF DFSS conference September 13-14, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada. SDI will also be giving two pre-conference workshops on September 12, 2006.
INTEGRATION OF SYSTEMS ENGINEERING WITH DFSS

Product development is based on understanding customer needs and then balancing three fundamental objectives: cost, schedule, and performance. Successful products provide an optimum solution for all three. DFSS methods and tools have the potential to provide improvements and proactive benefits if used correctly during the product development process.
This workshop will address:
- Development of models for multiple program and product attributes
- Types of analyses that should be performed and how to achieve a balanced design
- Common methods and tools that support the modeling, analysis and optimization of product development and program management
